Country music singer Morgan Wallen is facing serious charges after a bizarre incident on Nashville's famous Broadway strip. According to police reports, Wallen allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop of a six-story bar onto the street below [4].
The incident happened on Sunday night, April 7th, at Chief's, a new bar owned by fellow country star Eric Church [4]. Reports indicate the chair narrowly missed two police officers [6]. Luckily, no one was injured, but Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct [4].
This isn't Wallen's first brush with trouble on Broadway. In 2020, he was arrested for public intoxication outside another bar [3]. Wallen's attorney says he is cooperating with authorities, and a court date is set for May 3rd [4].
